Paper

 

Een van de verlangens van schrijver en beeldend kunstenaar Maarten Inghels is om op te gaan in de tekst en bij uitbreiding de literatuur. Gekleed in een papieren kostuum installeerde hij verschillende papieren tenten in de straten van Brussel. In deze nieuwe performance functioneert het woord als reddingsboei en het papier als schuiloord.

One of the things the writer and visual artist Maarten Inghels wants is to be swallowed up by the text and by extension by literature. Dressed in a paper costume he installed several paper tents in the streets of Brussels. In his new performance, the word functions as a life buoy and paper as a refuge.
